Common questions

Why can’t I see my calendars?

Calendelle uses the calendars already available on your iPhone. Allow full calendar access when prompted, then open Calendars in the app and make sure the calendars you want are visible.

You can change access in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars → Calendelle. If an account is missing, check that its events appear in Apple Calendar first.

Why does a work event only say “Busy”?

Your calendar provider or organisation may hide the event’s details. Calendelle can only show the information the calendar shares. Read-only calendars also prevent changes to the original events.

How do I keep important events in view?

Open an event and use its star control to add it to Year Plan. Highlighted dates appear in the calendar overview, and Year Plan brings those events together. Use the same control to remove a highlight.

Do important-event highlights sync between devices?

Highlights and app preferences are currently stored on each device. Your calendar events may still sync through iCloud, Google, Exchange, or your other calendar provider.

Which calendar receives new events?

Choose your default calendar in Calendelle’s Settings. You can also choose a writable calendar while creating an event. Read-only calendars cannot receive new events.

How do I add or refresh a widget?

Open Calendelle once and grant calendar access. Then add a Calendelle widget from your iPhone’s Home Screen widget gallery. Available designs include Next Three Days, Date & Calendar, Two Months, and Upcoming Events.

If a widget looks out of date, reopen Calendelle and check that the relevant calendar is visible. iOS controls when widgets refresh, so changes may not appear immediately.

How do I change the app language?

Open Calendelle’s Settings and choose the app language. You can return to the system language there too.
